The "toggle group" feature allows you to automatically move a reader from one cohort to another as soon as they have activated a widget.

Switching from one group to another requires no technical intervention in this case.

On which widgets is the toggle group option available?

The toggle group option is available on widgets that require a concrete action from the reader, such as answering a question or subscribing to a newsletter. The relevant widgets are the following:

• Free article: the reader takes the step of unlocking their article
• Newsletter subscription: the reader provides their email address
• Form: the reader fills in the various form fields presented to them
• Discovery pass: the reader signs up for a discovery offer
• Survey: the reader answers a question

How to configure the toggle group option?

It's very simple: within one of your scenarios, edit the widget from which you want to apply a toggle. In the "Advanced Configuration" section, you will find the option "When the user activates the widget, switch them to the group".

You can then choose from the dropdown list the target group into which you want to switch your users, once they have completed the widget action.

Don't forget to confirm the widget modification and update the scenario so that your changes are properly saved.
