With Poool Engage, you can easily create pop-ins to collect information.

Activating form fields

To display a form to complete to your reader, you should first choose the type of field.

To do this, go to the "Elements" section of Engage, click on [Create an element]. Finally, using the ⨁ icon, select the components to add.

In the second tab, you will find all the available "form fields" options within the platform.

Choose the fields that interest you and add them to your design.
You can then customize them as you wish.

Configuring fields

In the field settings options, several choices are available.

  • Field label

  • Placeholder

  • Variable name (assigned by default by Poool)

  • Required field: choose whether or not it is mandatory

  • Show block before form submission: show/hide (default value = show)

  • Show block after form submission: hide/show (default value = hide)

💡 With the variable name, you can easily identify the data that will be sent once the form is submitted.

Other available options

In this window, you can also further customize:

  • Style: manage various style options (background color, spacing, borders, shadows, rounding...)

  • Responsive: manage compatibility with screen sizes

  • Advanced: add a condition to show/hide a component.

Regarding data retrieval, we describe the process in this article.
