Before anything else, don’t forget that our Poool Tag Helper extension is available to make your job easier! It allows you to see all the settings applied to your site and to preview all your elements, based on the conditions defined in the Dashboard.
A few things to check:
Integration
The Engage script is integrated on all the pages of the site where you want your Engage elements to be displayed.
Customization options (custom filters) are passed into the
autoCreate()method.If you are collecting data via Poool (forms), data transmission to your database is enabled.
Depending on the activated formats, our recommendations to limit the impact on web performance have been taken into account.
Display rules
The placement of Engage elements matches your expectations (pop-ins, banners, in-line formats).
The settings are working properly: the display and/or non-display of elements correctly follows the rules defined in the Dashboard.
Customization options are applied correctly, especially custom filters, which correctly return the expected data.
💡 During the verification phase, the element preview option is your best ally to test your designs and conditions without activating your element.
Statistics and tracking
Data is available in the Statistics tab of the Dashboard.
Note: this data becomes available the day after activation. The connection with your analytics tool is set up in Engage.js via our connectors (GA4 and Piano), or through your own tracking solution.
During the launch, make sure to closely monitor:
Your active elements, depending on the activated campaigns.
The correct reporting of statistics in Poool and in your analytics: check the available data according to the details of the activated elements.
And don’t forget to subscribe to our alert system to track API incidents if needed: https://status.poool.fr/
