# Poool MCP - How to connect with ChatGPT?

Once your token has been created and the permissions are set, here is the procedure to follow if you are using ChatGPT.

| Please note: adding your MCP may require approval from your system administrator. We advise you to check this internally before setting up the connection.

# Download ChatGPT Desktop

Installing the MCP with ChatGPT requires downloading and installing the ChatGPT Desktop application: https://chatgpt.com/fr-FR/download/

# Add the MCP

Settings > Plugins > Add a MCP server

# Enter the Token

In the "Headers" section, enter the Token created in the Dashboard in the following format: Bearer YOUR-TOKEN

Example: BEARER poool_XXX
Select "HTTP streaming"

# Check the connection

You can also verify that the connection is working properly with a simple request, for example: "*List all Poool MCP tools*".

# Allow global tool activation

If you wish, it is also possible to allow tool activation in the general settings to avoid having to authorize each prompt.
