Access on mobile application (iOS and Android) – what features are available?

Thanks to the Poool Access mobile SDK, you can now integrate dynamic paywalls into your mobile application to control access to your content. Our SDK is available for iOS, Android, React Native, and React Native Webview.

For more technical installation information, please refer to our documentation here:

Available Formats

Several blocking formats are available.

As on the web, content can be unlocked either directly through the widget itself (e.g., an offered article or a form) or by redirecting users to a subscription/payment page.

Bottom-Sheet Mode

The modal format is the default display mode.

Integrated mode within an existing view

Custom View Mode

You can also customize the display to have more precise control over its positioning by defining the placeholder where the content will appear.

Features

Scenarios and Widgets

Scenario configuration works the same way as on the web.

You can create your contexts, define scenarios, and build the user journey with multiple successive actions.

All Poool widgets are available on the app:

  • Invisible Unlock
  • Automatic unlock
  • Offered Article
  • Forms / Newsletters / Surveys
  • Paywall / URL Discovery

Appearances

You can customize the design of your paywall using the Appearance Editor, just like on the web version.

The key difference is that custom CSS is not available on the app version.

All designs must be created within the Appearance Editor, using the features associated with each component of your element.

Action in case of non-consent

In the event of non-consent (ATT refusal), the default paywall will be loaded. You can customize the following elements:

  • The type of action offered, via the consent_rejection_widget.
  • The design: only the default appearance will be used, for which you can change the colors. Texts can be modified in the "messages" section.

Statistics

All statistics are available the next day on your Dashboard.

We are currently working on providing native connectors so you can also access these performance metrics directly within your analytics tools (GA4 or Piano).
