# How do I generate a data export for Newsletter and survey widgets?

If you use the **Newsletter** and/or **Survey** widgets, you can retrieve the collected information from your Poool Dashboard.

Data is collected only for these two types of widgets. For **forms**, no data is stored on the Poool side, so you must implement your own data retrieval logic.

# Data export

In the Export tab of your Access Dashboard, click on :

You can choose which data to collect, in one of three available formats (JSON, CSV, Excel):

* Processed answers (Survey widget)
* Newsletter sign-ups
