# First steps with Engage

You now have access to Poool Engage! Ready to get started with your settings? Before you begin, here's an overview of what to expect!

# Configuration logic

Engage is very simple. All your settings are done within an element, for which you define its appearance and the display conditions applied to it.

# Consider all available targeting options

Multiple options are available to you in Poool Engage. Here is a global overview of everything available in the tool:

**Conditions linked to browsing**

* After X page views / After X page views per X days
* User behavior: scroll % / Time spent on the page
* Devices (web mobile / web desktop / OS)

**Activate a cap**

* Display a set number of times
* Hide after X page views / Hide after X page views per day

**Specific pages**

* Target a specific URL or REGEX
* Referrer, based on user source

**Dates**

* Choose a period or specific dates / recurrence

**Location**

* Available for all countries worldwide

**Custom filters**

* Target based on your own data (exact value or "contains")
