Engage mobile application (iOS & Android) – what features are available?

With the Poool Engage mobile SDK, you can integrate Engage elements into your mobile application to drive in-app user engagement. Our SDK is available for both iOS and Android, utilizing two distinct integrations.

To proceed with implementation and configuration, you will have two applications for each integration (iOS and Android), each with its own unique ID.

For more technical installation details, please refer to our documentation here:

The Engage SDK implementation is currently native only (no React Native version is available at this time).

Available Formats

With the Poool SDK, you can integrate several types of formats, which you select directly within your element settings.

The following display options are available:

In a modal

In a bottom-sheet drawer

Within a target element

Choose the specific location where the Engage element will be displayed.

For the modal or bottom-sheet format, the "can be closed" option is available. This will display a close icon on the element.

Full page format

It is also possible to integrate a full-page format. Unlike the Modal, Bottom-Sheet, or target element formats, this format is not selected within the element's conditions; instead, it requires a specific integration.

This involves following these steps:

  • Create a Full-Page component on the integration side.
  • Adjust the appearance in the design editor to ensure the element scales to the size of the parent component.

Available conditions

Condition settings work the same way as they do for the web.

Only URL and referrer conditions are unavailable in the Mobile App version.

Appearances

Design customization for your element is available through the appearance editor, just like in the web version.

The key difference lies in the absence of customizable CSS on the app version. All designs must be built within the appearance editor using the features associated with each of your element's components.

You can also import your own custom font under the appearance settings in the "edit element properties" tab.

Statistics

All statistics are available the following day on your Dashboard.

If you wish to track your campaign performance in your own analytics tool, you will need to implement custom tracking using the provided events:

Native GA4 and Piano connectors are not yet available in the app SDK versions.
